Background
Our university has 2 campuses:
- College Lane maps and directions | Find/Contact us | Uni of Herts
- de Havilland maps and directions | Find/Contact us | Uni of Herts
Our University has around 35,000 students from a wide variety of different backgrounds and cultures, with a vibrant & vast staff population. This means that campus can be very busy at times.
Teaching sessions can take place on either campus, depending on which degree you study!
You can see our campus map here: Campus Maps | Ask Herts | University of Hertfordshire.
How could this affect me?
The campus is bigger than you might be used to at School or College and getting lost is common for new students and when timetables change. Becoming familiar with key buildings and locations may help you to prepare.

Practical tips
We recommend attending an applicant or open day in order to view & get an insight into our University & the campuses.
We also recommend reaching out to the accessibility team before you begin your studies to discuss any questions/queries/concerns – including how campus life will look day to day.
